Working at Top Finish Collision Center as Director of Marketing could be a challenging job position where I’m wearing too many hats. On one hand, learning the auto body estimating system while on the other designing a brochure or a postcard could be stressful enough but also rewarding knowing that I’m diversifying my capabilities.
I met Tony Bucio, owner of Top Finish back in 2005 right after they went through an extreme renovation and offered him my graphic design services then. Now 6 years later after designing their website and launching an intensive marketing campaign I’m working on a full time position and still learning how to write an estimate while updating their social media on a daily basis.

No doubt there are way too many new updates and software improvements every day that is really hard to keep up, money wise and space wise. Fortunatelly a good design can be accomplished with basic CS3 software or even older versions if you can pull off a great concept. Having the latest technology doesn’t guarantee a good design. It helps yes, but these are just mere tools and the end of the day it’s all about your creative mind. Creativity and a good concept are the basic elements, the mainframe to accomplish a great design.
